Progress Report 4 has just been posted... However, we still don't have complete addresses for the following members: Mary T. Smyth (Ireland), Beth Gwinn, Ian Sheppard (Ireland). If anyone can help us out here, please contact us.
We're sorry to have to announce that Gill Alderman has had to cancel her appearance at the con. Gill is a wonderful writer, and a great guest: with luck she'll be back for Octocon 1998.
In order to promote the con, we are organising a general knowledge table quiz at The Bugler Dunne, Harold's Cross Road, Dublin, on Wednesday 8th October, at 8:30pm. All are invited. Entry fee is a mere £12 per table. Prizes! Money! Drinkies! Hard questions! Etc.!

We are sorry to announce that Robert Jordan has cancelled his appearance at this year's Eurocon.
We hope that this turn of events will not affect your enjoyment of the convention, but should any fully-paid members require a refund due to this change, they may contact us by e-mail at karenb@eicon.com or by Fax at +353 (1) 295 9232 before Friday 17 October 1997.

On a more positive note, we are delighted to announce that world-famous author Harry Harrison has kindly agreed to take over as this year's Guest of Honour.
